The real challenge

How coaches and therapists lose the trust of their clients when they lack a corporate identity

Q

#01 Approachability vs. a professional demeanour

Your work thrives on closeness, warmth and genuine listening. Many coaches and therapists therefore worry that a professional image might come across as cold or distant. So their website remains makeshift and their logo is homemade. To people seeking support, however, this can quickly come across as unreliable. Yet it is precisely these people who need reassurance above all else.

Q

#02 Personality vs. Reluctance to Express Oneself

Clients don’t just choose a method; they choose a person. That’s why your personality needs to shine through. At the same time, many people in the helping professions feel that self-promotion is somehow wrong. The result is stock photos, generic text and a website that could just as easily belong to any other practice. That doesn’t create a connection.

Q

#03 Multiple channels vs. a unified view

Websites, Instagram, business cards, worksheets and online courses are often created one after the other using different tools. Each element is fine on its own. Together, however, they do not present a clear picture. This makes it difficult for prospective clients to tell whether everything has been created by the same person and what that person stands for.

Our response

With a clear corporate identity, coaches and therapists build trust even before the first session

R

A brand that exudes warmth and clarity

Colours, typography and visual language stem from your working style and your values. This gives your brand a calm, professional and human feel all at once. Clients can already get a sense of what a session with you would be like just by visiting your website.

R

A role that suits you

Together, we’ll work out who you’re supporting, how you work and what sets you apart. This will result in messages that showcase your personality. You won’t need to pretend to be someone else or raise your voice.

R

Communication without pressure

Content for websites and social media is open, calm and easy to understand. We avoid making claims of a cure, creating artificial scarcity and using high-pressure sales language. This is in line with your values and the rules that apply to many healthcare professions.

R

One system for all channels

The logo, website, social media, business cards, practice sign and client documents all follow a clear design theme. With templates and guidelines, your brand identity remains consistent even when you create content yourself.

R

Experience from major brands meets a sense of purpose

We have previously worked for major brands such as Henkel and Fresenius. Today, we deliberately use our expertise to support people who help others on their journey.

R

Values that we practise ourselves

Our founder has been vegan since 2015. Fixed, transparent prices ensure that you can plan with confidence right from the start.

What you get

Corporate Design for coaches and therapists should be both professional and personable

Many clients aren’t looking for the best-known coach, but for the one who makes them feel understood. A corporate identity for coaches and therapists conveys this feeling even before the first session takes place: your skills, your personality and your values. Calm, clear and close to your work.

Who do you want to reach, and how do you want them to feel when they visit your website? Every corporate design project begins with this question, whether it’s for a Business coach, a therapeutic practice, animal-assisted coaching or the Support for children and families. This will result in a logo, colour scheme, website and marketing materials that suit you and evolve alongside your work.

Customer feedback

What our customers say

„Sustainable branding isn’t just a green veneer, but a clear stance. This is where brands are created that not only make a visual impact, but also take on genuine responsibility and demonstrate a measurable impact.“

Anke Kühne
Managing Director | Estaverde

„Ethical brands don’t need flashy marketing; they need clear, honest language. When strategy, design and values align, genuine trust is built – and that’s exactly what lasts.“

Hannah Seward-Thompson
Sole trader | Mint Hedgehog

„Impact is created where branding does not merely sell, but brings about change. Sustainable brands in the property sector demonstrate that business and social responsibility are not a contradiction, but the very future.“

Why coaches and therapists gain measurable trust through corporate design

In a study involving over 2,600 participants, 46.1 per cent of the comments on the credibility of websites related to design. A cohesive online presence therefore plays a part in determining whether people trust you.

of those surveyed say that trust in a brand is a decisive factor in their purchasing decisions. In coaching and therapy, trust is in fact the very foundation of the entire working relationship.

There were more coaches worldwide in 2023 than there were in 2019. There are now around 123,000. Having a distinctive online presence will help you stand out in this growing market.

Branding process

From Purpose to Presence in four phases

Our process takes your brand from six weeks to Purpose to Presence. Across four phases , a clear, actionable result emerges step by step. The first and final phases each last one week, whilst the two in between each last two weeks. Each phase builds on the previous one and delivers a concrete outcome. At the end, you’ll have not just ideas, but a finished, consistent brand foundation – ready for use.

l

Strategy: Discover & Define

Once we have gathered all the relevant information, we carry out a thorough analysis. The aim is to truly understand the market and target audience before we develop the brand core, positioning and persona. We consolidate the results into a presentation, agree on them collectively and then translate them into a clear Strategy Guideline – as a robust foundation before the creative work begins.

Rough concept: Design

Now thinking becomes visible. Based on the archetypes from persona development, we use mood boards to discuss the atmosphere and style of the future brand identity. We then develop design routes as concrete creative directions. This phase is about establishing a clear direction and making selections – not yet about fine-tuning.

Detailed design: Develop

The chosen direction is worked out in detail here, and the system is made consistent. Components, variants, applications and details are refined and professionally prepared. This takes place internally, with a round of revisions. An idea is transformed into a robust, functioning system that can be implemented.

n

Realisation: Deliver & Document

This is where the branding is launched to the world: All assets are carefully developed and handed over; once approved, the brand is ready with logo, typefaces, colours, pictograms and illustrations are immediately ready for use. In the Design Guidelines , we establish clear rules for the system, explain how the building blocks interact and provide examples of their use – ensuring that the brand remains consistent, scalable and comprehensible in the long term.

What does a corporate identity for coaches and therapists involve?

A corporate identity is the visual identity of your practice or coaching service. This includes your logo, colours, typefaces, imagery and clear design guidelines. These elements are used to create your website, social media presence, business cards and client documentation.

It all comes down to the foundation. First, we clarify who you support, how you work and what values guide you. We then create a design that brings these values to life.

How can I come across as professional without seeming cold?

Professionalism stems from clarity and consistency. When colours, images and text complement one another, your brand image comes across as confident and calm. At the same time, it should convey warmth and personality.

That is why we use authentic portraits, accessible language and a calm design. This allows prospective clients to recognise your expertise whilst also getting a sense of how you work with people.

Are there special rules on advertising for therapists?

Yes, in many countries, specific rules on advertising apply to the healthcare professions. For example, claims of a cure, guaranteed results or misleading statements about treatments are often not permitted. Many professional groups are also subject to their own rules laid down by professional associations or bodies.

We are not a law firm and do not provide binding legal advice. However, we draft your texts in a factual and honest manner right from the start, without making promises that nobody can guarantee. In the case of sensitive statements, we also recommend a review by a law firm specialising in medical law.

Do I have to show my face if I don’t want to?

No. It’s up to you to decide how much of yourself you reveal. Some coaches put themselves centre stage. Others opt for a calm brand featuring illustrations, nature scenes or photos of their practice premises.

It’s important that prospective clients understand who you are and how you work. You don’t need flashy marketing to achieve this. Often, a good portrait, honest copy and a design that reflects your working style are enough.

What should I do to prepare before I start?

Anything that describes your work will be helpful: your training and methods, the services you offer and your ideal clients. Existing materials such as your website, leaflets or photos are also useful. Notes on presentations that you like or dislike will also be helpful.

You don’t need to come prepared with ready-made answers. During the coffee break, we’ll work together to identify what makes you tick and what your presentation needs first and foremost. That way, you’ll start with a clear plan.

A coffee break together

Corporate identity for coaches and therapists who share the same values

A corporate identity for coaches and therapists ensures that your work is understood even before the first session. It combines professionalism with warmth, and clarity with personality. This helps you attract clients who are a good fit for you and who trust you right from the start.

During a no-obligation, free coffee break, we’ll explore together whether we share this vision. You grab a coffee, and we’ll make sure to set aside plenty of time. During the break, we’ll organise our thoughts, share ideas openly and find out what really matters in your work. Relaxed. Honest. With no pressure to make a decision.

Do you want people to get a feel for how you work at first glance? If so, we look forward to hearing from you.
